First of all, please apologise me for long await and absence. I do really have no time to update nThaiz and visiting my own site.
Few weeks ago I did update nThaiz to fit with the latest release, IPB 2.3.4. I took a lot of time for refining and improve this version together with creating style for WonderlandGuild. Indeed, nThai(z) 3.1 has been used and tested at least for 2-3 weeks.
If you are waiting for nThai(z) 3.1, please visit 3.0 project page and download it. As before, I released both versions of nThai(z), tis-620 and utf-8.
Next few days I will release nThai(z) for Shoutbox.

Too much delayed for this release due to full-hand work. Finally, I re-polished this original cat and bring it out of bag. nThai(z) 1.0.4 is not just small update continued from 1.0.4 but it’s fully optimized and re-polished. It contain a lot of change which to hard for me to list them. If you still using 1.0.4, I recoment you to upgrade with 1.0.5.
nThai(z) 1.0.5 is support IPB. 2.1.x family, including the latest 2.1.7. With this release, it now have UTF-8 package a long with TIS-620.
To download, please visit nThai(z) 1.0 series project page.
I am not sure how many web site out there still want Thai language for IPB 2.0.x, please let me know.

As I told you earlier I am working on Thai language pack for Invision Power Board 2.3 series. Originally, I though it wouldn’t consume much of my time like nThai(z) 2.0 did. Unfortunately, IPS staff changed their language files terribly. A lot of little changes hidden in hundreds of line. It took me a lot of time to find it out, line-to-line. That’s why it take too long than I expacted. The second reason is I am addicted to Jumong, Korea series, I just finish 17 CDs last night.
Finally, nThai(z) 3.0 is done. The upgrade process is finish plus correcting some spelling error and with a bit of optimization. Little news for those sites who use IPB with small screen, I optimized my language pack to fit with your site design.
Tomorrow I will pack this language pack and will release very soon after I test it online. nThai(z) 3.0 will support both TIS-620 and UTF-8. Please note that nThai(z) 3.0 series will work ONLY with IPB 2.3.x, it’s impossible to use with IPB.2.2.x due to some changes in language file by IPS.

While I can not confirm the release date for Thai Language pack for IPB, for short I am glad to tell you all that nThai(z) for IPB 2.2.2 is finished. From the original name “nThai” it now changed to nThai(z). The version number is rised up to 2.0, nThai(z) 2.0. Why it jumped from 1.0.4 to 2.0? it not just I add few line of IPB 2.2.2 but there are a lot of change.
- It’s more easy to understand and follow than previous version.
- Shorten by cutting off a lot unnecessary words.
- Adopted to be fit with IPB 2.2 Look and Feel.
- Adopted more and more to Thai style of speak — Why you should follow American?
- Thai Standard language
- Support TIS-620 and UTF-8, in separate set.
- Typo error free–I hope, it not just double check.
For those who use IPB 2.1.x, I will release nThai(z) 1.0.5 some time soon–the most of work is finished. But for 2.0.x, I still not sure because I am no longer have that files.

The entire nThai(z) pack currently limited it support to TIS-620 or Thai Industry Standard which also working fine with Windows-874 super set and ISO-8859-11. It seem there are issue with the site that using UTF-8 for Thai, I am not fully sure. If you have any experience with nThai and UTF-8 please let me know. It would be thanks in advance.
I am just thinking that if the TIS-620 encoded nThai(z) not working with UTF-8, should I extending it support? I really have no idea how many site with utf-8 out there. I am just thinking about it, what do you think? if there are any benefit I would expanding my work–surely, it’s terrible work.
Btw, I don’t think I can finish the review of nThai(z) tonight, a bit tired and sleepy. I will get to bed within an hour.
